My Bio

Hello, my name is Sean Speckert.  Travel enthusiast, musician, artist, avid mountain biker, surfer, snowboarder and all around cool dude.  I am currently a resident of Puyallup Washington, where I live with my lovely wife Katheryn Speckert and our two pugs Luci and Anna.

 I work at the Olympian Newspaper, Tacoma News Tribune and Seattle Times.  I have also had the opportunity to work on small projects for several bands and other small businesses.  However, my true passion is comic books.  I have had the great pleasure of meeting several creators from Marvel, DC, and Image comics, and on rare occasion working with some of them.

I am currently enrolled in the Digital Design Course at Pierce College where I will be finishing my associates degree.  I will continue to hone my skills using Adobe and sketch as I always have since I was five years old. Afterwards I hope to seek long-term employment in comics, or possibly create my own book and see where that takes me.
