Dreamweaver is dumb

For this assignment I downloaded a template for a website then had to recreate it using Dreamweaver to make it look like my own.

For this project I used Dreamweaver and Photoshop to change the pictures and text which were the big parts of the website.  

I thought I did pretty well on this assignment up until the last few seconds when I renamed the folder and it completely erased everything i did.  I really don't understand Dreamweaver.
